Blue Springs Education Foundation

The Blue Springs Education Foundation was founded by the Board of Education to enhance the excellent programs and instruction which are synonymous with the Blue Springs School District and provide assistance for student success in the K-12 experience and beyond. Contributions to the Foundation will be used to endow the Foundation and provide funding in the following areas:

• Innovative classroom grants to enhance teaching and learning
• Grants for staff seminars or forums to increase student learning (not for college credit hours and cannot conflict with criteria for district Professional Development)
• Student grants and scholarships
• School and/or district initiatives

Applications for grants and scholarships will be based upon a set of criteria and reviewed by a trained panel of reviewers.

All scholarship applications for the 2011-2012 school year are due by February 24, 2012.
